Panoramic base

StudioBall is the only ballhead featuring a true Dual ball
bearing panoramic base ! Most other manufactures use only a slim bushing in the base, not so with the StudioBall.

Our dual race of ball bearings insures you of smooth effortless pans regardless of what type of equipment you may be using. Vibration free rotation is assured.  Sure it costs a little more to produce, But only ball bearings can offer you
near "friction free" rotation. Try it once and you will see the difference.

Quick release head

StudioBall is available in two models, the model # SB-14 features a 50 mm round camera plate with a reversible 1/4 ~ 3/8 thread . (see specifications page)

The model # SB-QR features a quick release mount, with the "Posi-lock" safety lever. An exclusive of GRAF - this red lever - when utilizing Graf plates keeps the camera plate mounted to the StudioBall even if the Quick release knob is unlocked. Camera plates can be inserted from either side Quick, Fast and easy to use !

Many outdoor photographers walk through the woods with their tripod over the shoulder, and the camera mounted on top - should your quick release ever accidentally loosen with a StudioBall and GRAF plate your equipment is safe !

Of course virtually all the after market "Arca" styled plates will fit and lock conventionally with GRAF StudioBalls.

Friction pre-select  Knob
